Rockland Zoning Board approves kennel and restaurant expansion. The board unanimously granted a Special Permit to Renee Armstrong, owner of Dog Walkah Pet Services LLC, to operate a commercial dog boarding and daycare business from her home at 64 Shaw Road, subject to 20 conditions including a maximum of nine dogs on site at any given time and a six-foot fence between the dog area and a swimming pool; a one-year review is scheduled for March 2027. In a separate unanimous vote, the board amended the 2024 Special Permit for Anita Marie's Breakfast and Lunch at 349 Union Street to extend hours of operation to Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Monday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., allowing owner Jessica Duran to introduce evening service.
