ROCKLAND — Select Board unanimously appoints Christopher Schultz as Health Agent. The current Abington Health Agent will replace Delshaune Flipp, retiring May 13, following a review process that included Assistant Town Administrator Courtney Bjorgaard, HR Director Lori Taylor, and Deputy Fire Chief Tom Heaney. The board also unanimously authorized Anita Marie's Breakfast & Lunch, 349 Union Street, to request extended business hours from the State Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission, with owner Jessica Duran seeking the change to add evening dining service.
Police Chief Nick Zeoli presided over promotion ceremonies for Lieutenant Steven Somers (to Deputy Chief), Sergeant Brian McDonald (to Lieutenant), and Detective James Casper (to Detective Sergeant).
