ROCKLAND — Select Board approves three spring liquor licenses unanimously. Chair Michael P. O'Loughlin and members voted to grant one-day permits to 4th Floor Artists on April 11 and to Players Sports Bar and Grille for Opening Day on April 12 and the Recreation Department Adult Egg Hunt on May 2.
Recreation Director Jeanne Blaney announced her department received the Massachusetts Parks and Recreation Association's Agency of the Year Award for Program Outreach - Mental Health Awareness Outreach Program. Town Administrator Doug Lapp reported the Fire Department secured a $19,000 state grant for safety and communications equipment with no town match required.
