ROCKLAND — Select Board approves liquor license and registrar appointments. Chair Michael P. O'Loughlin and the full five-member board unanimously approved a one-day liquor license for Black Hat Brew Works and Players Sports Bar & Grille for Rockland Day on June 20 and reappointed Constable Kevin McKenna to his post.

Melissa Burgio and Susan Ide were appointed to the Board of Registrars, with John Ward withdrawing his application. Town Administrator Doug Lapp announced the town received a $1.1 million federal grant for the wastewater treatment plant and reported the Fire Station Project received an updated Special Permit from the Zoning Board of Appeals and will proceed to the Planning Board.
