Rockland Council on Aging approves prior minutes and financial statement. Chairman Andrew McCarthy led twelve members on April 8 in unanimous approval of the March 11 minutes and financial report. The Council scheduled a veteran's breakfast for April 17, a Men's group barbecue June 12 at six dollars per ticket, and a Mental Health Awareness program May 7 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A shredding day is set May 12 with costs shared between the Golden Agers and Men's Club; a recycling event May 19 will charge ten dollars for televisions only.
