Rockland Council on Aging approves April minutes and elects delegate. The 13-member board unanimously approved the April meeting minutes and voted unanimously to elect Kathy O'Neil as its delegate to Old Colony Elder Services. Chairman Andrew McCarthy reported a successful Mental Health Awareness program on May 7 sponsored jointly by library, Recreation, and Veterans groups.
Housing outreach continues to drive appointments as final inspections proceed for the new School House Apartments; fuel assistance applications closed April 30 following increased demand driven by fuel costs.
