ROCKLAND — Sewer Commission advances superintendent candidate to second interview. The commission unanimously voted to move forward with a previously interviewed candidate who recently expressed renewed interest in the Sewer Superintendent position, scheduling her second interview for January 26, 2026. The candidate will present a 30-minute prioritized action plan covering plant operations, field collections, contractor coordination, goals and measurable objectives for the next 12 months, 1&1 work management, rehabilitation and WWTP upgrades, regulatory compliance, service delivery improvements, and interdepartmental communication, followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer period.

The candidate will receive an overview of current department conditions beforehand.
