Rockland Sewer Commission unanimously appoints Hillary Waite as Superintendent pending salary negotiations. Chair Michael Mullen and Commissioner Walter Simmons voted in favor after Waite outlined a first-year strategic plan focused on physical assets, financials, structures, and management. The commission also voted unanimously to request that Town Counsel draft a response to an Open Meeting Law complaint filed by Mary Parsons on January 20, with the town required to respond within 14 days.
Upcoming meetings on February 23 will address Shingle Mill and Carey Street projects, including a vote to approve a fee schedule.
