Rockland Board of Assessors approves four FY2026 tax exemptions totaling $4,644.60. Chairman Dennis M. Robson, Vice Chairman Dianne M.
Molineaux, and Member Charles E. Wehner Jr. voted unanimously to approve two senior Clause 41C exemptions, three veteran Clause 22 exemptions, and one senior Clause 17D exemption. In separate unanimous votes, the board granted one real estate abatement application (2026-1) and denied fifteen others.
Director of Assessing Meg Peterson briefed the board on next steps for a 225 West Water Street property, including filing for an 8 of 58 public benefit abatement through the Department of Revenue.
