ROCKLAND — Board of Assessors approves April abatement report and denies applications. Chairman Dennis M. Robson and Vice Chairman Dianne M.
Molineaux, with Director of Assessing Meg Peterson, signed an end-of-month motor vehicle excise abatement report for April 2026 totaling $23,455.49. The board denied three abatement applications for 2023 bills #11060, #11090, and #11109 for failing to meet abatement criteria, and signed three 2026 motor vehicle excise bills #4352, #6546, and #12283 as uncollectible. The board then adjourned into executive session at 3:40 p.m. to discuss pending Appellate Tax Board cases and did not reconvene.
